We often get asked about Moodle and why it is the Learning Management System we prefer to develop Learning Management Systems and courseware in for our clients.

Well, primarily we find it to be a relatively simple, flexible system to deliver courses and courseware in.

With a bit of training and persistence most organisations can often manage their Moodle LMS's in-house themselves. Sometimes clients need a "Moodle buddy".

We have used many LMS's over the years and Moodle may not be "the best" or have the most "bells and whistles" but it is very good at getting the job done and has a good community of developers supporting it.

We have worked with many RTO's integrating with and using, such systems as aXcelerate, Articulate Storyline, Wordpress and Joomla.

Although we use Moodle for our LMS systems for our clients we are not an official Moodle Partner.

In Australia, if you are looking for an official Moodle Partner, the current ones can be found on this list here at Moodle.com

Customisation of Moodle themes

Many people unfamiliar to Moodle seem to be under the misunderstanding that Moodle LMS sites need to be ugly and poorly presented.

This does not have to be the case.

With a bit of work and care - customised themes or templates can be developed to present professionally and corporately in the Moodle LMS.

Here are some examples of sites we have done for clients also showing the default theme.
