Refund Policy
Development
Deposits for website development work are required to begin design and/or coding work and are therefore non-refundable.
In the event that the project is terminated we reserve the right to refund the deposit minus costs incurred to that point.
Much of our development is based in open source systems such as Joomla or Moodle. Our changes to these systems are also released under the same license http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html
Our product is fit for purpose when launched. As technology changes rapidly we do not guarantee that it will work forever. No Refund will be given due to changes in technology. We discuss all updates with clients before beginning work on any update, which at our discretion may incur a charge.
Domains
Setup charges and Domain Name Registration fees are not refundable.
Hosting
Hosting is billed annually and paid up front. To apply for cancellation and/or refund, you must contact Preflight on 03 9017 3737 and then send us written authorisation to cancel your account to
A hosting refund will only be issued if the account has more than 6 months until expiry and then 50% of the hosting fee will be refunded.
Accounts that are: cancelled, deactivated, have services suspended for violation of our terms of service, or accounts that exceed their disk or bandwidth usage amount, do not qualify for any refund.
Chargebacks
If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute from a credit card company or bank, your service and/or project will be suspended without notice. A $50 chargeback fee (issued to recover fees passed on to us by the credit company), plus any outstanding balances accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, files delivered, or any further work is done.
